Today is the opening day of Lights Before Christmas at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. This is their longest running holiday tradition with this year being the 27^th annual year! The zoo will light up more than one million twinkling lights and animated images representing Riverbanks animals. Additionally there is a jingle bell bonfire, music in motion lights spectacular, a show every night and a special appearance from Santa! You can also purchase hot cocoa and marshmallows to roast over the fire. Lights Before Christmas will be occurring daily from 6pm-9pm from November 21^st until December 30^th. Adult tickets are only $10, children under 12 are $8 and kids younger than 2 years old are free. Take your family and light up your night at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden! Learn more here.
