January 2020 Pharmacy Change
BlueCross is changing the pharmacy benefit manager from Caremark to OptumRx. This change will affect all BlueCross members, and every member will receive a new card. We have provided a video with information on My Health Toolkit where you can log in and download a new card. There is also additional information on the pharmacy change below.
Information for the Pharmacy Change
Beginning Jan. 1, 2020, your health plan’s pharmacy benefit will be administered by a new pharmacy benefits manager, OptumRx. This letter was also mailed to all members.
OptumRx Home Delivery will be your health plan’s new mail-service pharmacy. Click here for more information on how the process will be changed through the transition to OptumRx.
A copy of what the envelope with your new card will look like. This will be mailed to all members, so be on the lookout for this envelope in December with your new card.
