About the speaker:
Melissa Goforth joined the American Lung Association in Columbia, South Carolina as an Area Manager in February. The Area Manager is responsible for implementing area fundraising and program goals and assisting with raising funds through grants and other sources to fund program, research, and advocacy services for ALA’s mission: to improve lung health and prevent lung disease through research, advocacy, community service and education. Melissa is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she majored in public relations and minored in business administration.
