Fall Festival and Pickin’ Party

Where: South Carolina State Museum (301 Gervais St, Columbia, SC 29214)
Time: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Cost:
- Children 3-12: $6.95
- Adults 13-61: $8.95
- Seniors 62 & over: $7.95
- Members: free
Food: Barbecue, fixings, kid-friendly food and craft beer will be for sale prepared by Jim Hayes, Buddy Rogers, and David Elliott.
Music: Bluegrass bands including Flatland Express, Palmetto Blue, Roadkill, The Carolina Rebels, The Mustache Brothers, The Sweet Potato Pie Kids of the Young Appalachian Musicians, and Willie Wells and The Blue Ridge Mountain Grass will preform throughout the day. Don’t forget to bring blankets or chairs if you would like to have a seat while you enjoy the tunes!
Other Fun: Artwork produced by artists whose pieces are currently featured in museum exhibits will be available for purchase. Artwork available includes jewelry pieces, wooden decoys, furniture, handmade guitars, metal art, and much more. Children can also enjoy crafts and activities throughout the festival.
