Men also need to be aware of and take care of their own mental health. Three times as many men die by suicide than women.

Men are also more susceptible to developing a dependency on drugs and alcohol, so it is important for you to reach out if you think you might need help.

Men may feel like they are not allowed to speak openly about emotions or mental health because of stigma, so it is important to take time to check in with yourself and get in touch with others if you feel that you are in need of support.
