What is Psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a disease that causes inflammation in the skin and on your body due to some disruption of the immune system. Normally skin cells shed from the body in about a month. With Psoriasis, instead of the skin cells flaking off, they become built up on the skin and cause plaque or scales.
