Governor’s Cup Road Race- Nov. 8th

If you are looking to participate in an upcoming race sign up for the Lexington Medical Center Governor’s Cup Road Race! It is one of the oldest road races in the southeast and this year the race will take place on November 8th. You and your family can have the choice to participate in the half-marathon, 8K, 3-mile walk or kid’s cup races. If you register before November 1st, the cost is $70 for the Half Marathon, $35 for the 8K, $25 for the walk and $10 for the kids run. After November 1st the cost to register goes up! You cannot register the day of the race, so click HERE to register now! The race also needs volunteers to help out so if you would like to volunteer you can sign up HERE!
Packet pick up will be held the Friday before the race from 11 am to 7 pm at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center Ballroom A. The race start line will be at Gervais and Main Street and races will begin at 8:00 am. The Half-marathon will begin first followed by the 8K at 8:20, then the walk and kids run at 8:30 .
